Intro
Bring the Hebrew alphabet into playtime with a wooden puzzle shaped like an elephant, its interlocking pieces painted in bold red, green, yellow and blue. Each piece carries a single Hebrew letter, so the finished elephant doubles as a full Alef Beit set. Designed by Jerusalem artist Yair Emanuel, whose Judaica has furnished Jewish homes for over two decades.
Build and Use
Cut from wood and finished with bright painted color, the puzzle measures about 10 by 7.5 by 1 inches when assembled. Twenty six pieces interlock to form the elephant's body, trunk, ears and legs, each one marked with a different Hebrew letter. The sturdy pieces suit small hands learning to sound out the alphabet.
Gift Ideas
A cheerful choice for a baby naming, bris, or housewarming gift for a family building a Jewish home. It also suits a birthday or as a sibling gift when a family celebrates a bar or bat mitzvah. The bright colors and Hebrew letters make it a keepsake a child returns to for years.
Care Instructions
Wipe the wooden pieces clean with a dry or slightly damp cloth. Keep the puzzle away from prolonged moisture and direct sun so the painted colors stay vivid.
