Intro
Add a rich touch to every Shabbat and holiday with a maroon kippah embroidered with pomegranate branches. Rose and pink threads bring fruit and leaves to life across the crown, and a band of pomegranates circles the rim. The pomegranate stands for blessing and abundance. Designed by Jerusalem artist Yair Emanuel, whose work has been part of Jewish homes for over two decades.
Build and Use
Worn on Shabbat, holidays and at the synagogue, the kippah is sewn from a blend of cotton, polyester and silk. The embroidery is worked across four panels, finished with a maroon edge. It measures 6.5 inches in diameter and weighs very little, so it sits comfortably through a long service.
Gift Ideas
Deep in color and rich in detail, the kippah makes a fitting bar mitzvah gift. It also suits a wedding, an engagement or an anniversary. Tucked into a card or paired with a matching challah cover, it is an easy gift for someone building a Jewish home.
Care Instructions
Spot clean the kippah gently with a damp cloth and let it air dry. Avoid soaking or machine washing so the embroidery and the silk blend keep their sheen. Store it flat to hold its shape.
