Intro

Slip a bit of color into any book with a paper bookmark printed from a poppy flower watercolor. The design shows a pair of red poppies against a deep blue wash, one in bloom and one nodding on its stem. The artwork is designed by Jerusalem artist Yair Emanuel, whose work has filled Jewish homes for over two decades.

Build and Use

Printed on sturdy paper stock, the bookmark reproduces the original watercolor in full color rather than being hand painted itself. It measures 6.5 by 2 inches, a slim size that slides easily between pages. Each bookmark is sold individually.

Gift Ideas

Light and inexpensive, the poppy bookmark makes an easy addition to a housewarming or birthday gift, or a small extra tucked into a bar or bat mitzvah present. It also works well on its own for a reader who appreciates art alongside their books. The size makes it simple to send along with a card or a larger gift.

Care Instructions

Keep the bookmark away from water and direct sunlight to preserve the printed colors. Store it flat inside a book to keep it from bending or creasing.
