Intro

Bring a sculptural touch to your Shabbat table with this pair of tapered candlesticks, finished in a warm antique brass tone. Each piece narrows from a wide base to a slender neck, an hourglass silhouette with a quietly antique feel. Designed by Jerusalem artist Yair Emanuel, whose work has shaped Jewish homes for over two decades.

Build and Use

Cast in aluminum and finished in a brass tone, the candlesticks are lit weekly for Shabbat and Yom Tov. The pair stands 7 inches tall, tapering smoothly from a broad, stable base to a narrow neck that holds a single candle each. Sold as a matched set, they hold standard Shabbat candles and sit steadily on any table.

Gift Ideas

With their antique styling, these candlesticks make a fitting wedding, engagement, or housewarming gift. They suit a bar or bat mitzvah or an anniversary equally well, and work as a gift for a couple furnishing a Jewish home. Their finish gives them a timeless look that fits many occasions beyond these too.

Care Instructions

Wipe the candlesticks with a soft, dry cloth to keep the brass finish clean. Avoid abrasive cleaners or soaking, and remove cooled wax gently by hand.
