Intro

Bring a modern touch to your Shabbat table with this pair of tapered candlesticks in a rich blue finish. Each holder narrows from a wide flared base to a slender neck, marked by a band of silver at the center. Clean lines and a bold color give the pair a contemporary look while keeping the Shabbat table at their center. Designed by Jerusalem artist Yair Emanuel, whose work has shaped Jewish homes for over two decades.

Build and Use

Formed from anodized aluminum, the candlesticks are hand painted by skilled artisans in a deep blue with a polished silver band at the waist. Each one stands 6.5 inches tall with a 2 inch base, sold as a pair, and fits standard Shabbat candles. The flared base gives each holder a steady, weighted stance on the table.

Gift Ideas

With their modern shape and bold color, these candlesticks make a striking wedding or engagement gift. They suit a housewarming or a bar or bat mitzvah just as well, and work nicely as an anniversary gift for a couple who already keeps Shabbat. The pair also stands out as a gift for anyone building a Jewish home.

Care Instructions

Wipe the candlesticks clean with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners or soaking them in water, which can dull the anodized finish over time.
