Intro

Bring understated elegance to your Shabbat table with a pair of tapered candlesticks finished in antique silver. Cast in aluminum, each piece narrows into a slender waist before flaring back out at the base, giving the pair a modern silhouette with an old-world finish. Designed by Jerusalem artist Yair Emanuel, whose work has shaped Jewish homes for over two decades.

Build and Use

Cast from aluminum and finished in an antique silver tone, the candlesticks are formed with a smooth tapered profile that widens at the base for a steady stand. Each one stands about 8.3 inches tall and holds a standard Shabbat candle. Sold as a matched pair, they are lit each week to welcome Shabbat and Yom Tov.

Gift Ideas

Their clean, antique-toned finish makes this pair a fitting gift for a wedding, engagement, or housewarming, especially for someone furnishing a first Jewish home. They also suit a bar or bat mitzvah or an anniversary, marking a milestone with something used every week. The understated design travels well beyond ritual occasions too, fitting nearly any home style.

Care Instructions

Wipe the candlesticks with a soft, dry cloth to keep the antique silver finish looking rich. Avoid abrasive cleaners or soaking, and clear away cooled wax gently by hand.
