Intro

Mark a doorway with a mezuzah case built like a small sculpture, its metal discs stacked in shades of maroon, violet and purple along a brushed steel core. A mezuzah holds the scroll inscribed with the Shema, placed on the doorposts of a Jewish home. The repeating discs give the case a rhythmic, modern silhouette that stands apart from traditional forms. Designed by Jerusalem artist Yair Emanuel, whose work has shaped Jewish homes for over two decades.

Build and Use

Built from stacked metal discs finished in maroon, violet and purple tones, the case fits a 12 cm scroll, sold separately. It measures approximately 5.3 inches tall and 1.2 inches wide, with an open channel running through the center of the discs to hold the scroll in place. The layered construction gives the case a sturdy, textured feel suited to mounting beside a door.

Gift Ideas

The mezuzah case suits a housewarming, a new home, or a wedding, marking the start of a household. It also fits a bar or bat mitzvah or an engagement gift, where a doorway piece carries lasting meaning. Its sculptural look makes it a distinctive choice for anyone who appreciates modern Judaica.

Care Instructions

Wipe the case with a soft, dry cloth to keep the metal finish clean. Avoid abrasive cleaners or moisture, which can dull the colored surfaces over time.
