Intro

Bring a modern edge to your Shabbat table with a pair of candlesticks built from stacked discs in shades of blue. Each column is formed of discs that project outward past the core, catching light along the edges rather than sitting flush. The layered, architectural look reflects a contemporary take on a traditional set, designed by Jerusalem artist Yair Emanuel.

Build and Use

Lit each week for Shabbat and Yom Tov, the candlesticks are built from anodized aluminum discs stacked around a central core, each disc projecting outward rather than sitting flush. Sold as a pair, each candlestick stands 5 inches tall and 2 inches wide. The stacked form gives the set a sculptural presence on the table while holding a single flame at the top of each column.

Gift Ideas

The modern disc design makes these candlesticks a striking wedding or engagement gift, especially for a couple drawn to contemporary design. They also suit a housewarming, an anniversary, or a bar or bat mitzvah gift for someone building a Jewish home. The blue tones and architectural stack give them a distinct look beyond traditional silver or brass sets.

Care Instructions

Wipe the candlesticks clean with a soft, dry cloth to preserve the anodized finish. Avoid abrasive cleaners or soaking in water, and keep them dry between uses to maintain the color.
