Intro

Mark your doorway with a mezuzah case built from a tight stack of aluminum discs, rising in a modern silhouette with gray accents at each end. The design departs from traditional mezuzah forms, favoring a sculptural, architectural look. Designed by Jerusalem artist Yair Emanuel, whose work has graced Jewish homes for over two decades. The mezuzah marks the doorposts of a Jewish home, holding the scroll inside.

Build and Use

Built from layered aluminum discs finished with gray accents, the case measures 5.5 inches by 1 inch. It is sized to hold a 12 cm scroll, which is not included and should be sourced separately from a scribe. The open, ridged form keeps the case lightweight while giving it a distinct modern presence on any doorpost.

Gift Ideas

A striking modern take on a traditional object, this case suits a housewarming gift for someone moving into a new home. It also works well for a wedding, an engagement, or a bar or bat mitzvah gift. Its sculptural design appeals to those who appreciate modern Judaica beyond the standard occasions.

Care Instructions

Wipe the case clean with a soft, dry cloth to keep the aluminum surface free of dust. Avoid abrasive cleaners, which can dull the finish and the gray accents.
