Intro

Set the tone for Shabbat with a pair of sculptural candlesticks finished in antique silver. Cast in aluminum, each holder narrows into a slender hourglass form before flaring out again at the base, giving the pair a modern silhouette with an old world finish. Designed by Jerusalem artist Yair Emanuel, whose work has shaped Jewish homes for over two decades.

Build and Use

Cast from aluminum and finished in antique silver, the candlesticks are lit each week for Shabbat and Yom Tov. Each piece stands about 7 inches tall, with a tapered waist and a weighted base that keeps the pair steady on the table. The holders fit standard Shabbat candles and are sold as a matching set of two.

Gift Ideas

The antique finish and clean form make this pair a natural wedding or engagement gift, and a strong choice for a housewarming or a couple setting up a Jewish home. They also suit a bar or bat mitzvah or an anniversary. The pair works just as well as a warm gift outside those occasions.

Care Instructions

Wipe the candlesticks with a soft, dry cloth to keep the antique silver finish intact. Remove cooled wax gently and avoid abrasive cleaners or soaking in water.
