Intro

Bring a clean, modern object to your morning routine with this netilat yadayim cup, cast in brushed gray aluminum. Two wide handles curve out from the body, set for easy alternating pours. Designed by Jerusalem artist Yair Emanuel, whose work has shaped Jewish ritual objects for over two decades. The matte gray finish gives the cup a quiet, contemporary presence beside the sink.

Build and Use

Used for the daily ritual of washing hands, the cup is cast from anodized aluminum with a smooth matte finish inside and out. It measures 3.5 by 5 inches, sized to sit comfortably on a sink or counter. The two handles are set at opposite sides of the rim, wide enough for a full, steady grip.

Gift Ideas

Clean lines and a neutral gray tone make this cup a fitting wedding or housewarming gift, especially for someone setting up a first Jewish home. It also suits a bar or bat mitzvah or an engagement gift, where a lasting ritual object carries more weight than a card. The modern look keeps it easy to place in nearly any kitchen or bathroom.

Care Instructions

Wipe the cup clean with a soft, dry cloth to preserve the matte finish. Avoid abrasive scrubbers or harsh cleaners, and dry it fully after rinsing to keep the aluminum looking sharp.
