Intro

Mark your doorway with a mezuzah case that stands out for its bold, modern form. Layers of gray discs stack along a slender aluminum cylinder, catching light from every angle. The mezuzah holds the scroll inscribed with the Shema, affixed to the doorpost as a mark of the home within. Designed by Jerusalem artist Yair Emanuel, whose work has shaped Jewish homes for over two decades.

Build and Use

Made of aluminum, the case is built from stacked discs fitted around a central tube to create its layered, modern silhouette. It measures about 4.5 inches long and holds a scroll of up to 4 inches, which is not included and should be sourced separately. The open ends allow for easy placement of the scroll, and the compact size suits most standard doorposts.

Gift Ideas

The case makes a fitting housewarming gift for anyone settling into a new home, and it suits a wedding or engagement just as well. Its modern lines also make it a good choice for a bar or bat mitzvah gift or to mark an anniversary. Anyone drawn to contemporary Judaica will appreciate its sculptural design.

Care Instructions

Wipe the case with a soft, dry cloth to keep the aluminum surface clean. Avoid abrasive cleaners or excess moisture, which can dull the finish over time.
