Intro

Mark your doorway with a mezuzah case cut in a clean, modern column of dark green. The slim aluminum form is finished in a rich anodized color with a simple cutout letter at its center. Designed by Jerusalem artist Yair Emanuel, whose work has shaped Jewish homes for over two decades. The case holds a mezuzah scroll, which is affixed to the doorposts of a Jewish home, though the scroll itself is not included.

Build and Use

Formed from anodized aluminum, the case is finished in a deep dark green with a modern tapered profile. It measures about 5.5 inches tall and 0.5 inches wide, sized to hold a standard mezuzah scroll, sold separately. The lightweight metal construction keeps the case easy to mount on any doorpost.

Gift Ideas

A dark green mezuzah case makes a fitting gift for a housewarming, a new home, or a wedding. It suits a bar or bat mitzvah as well, marking a milestone with something for the home rather than the shelf. The modern finish also works as a thoughtful gift for someone furnishing a first apartment or moving into a new space.

Care Instructions

Wipe the case clean with a soft, dry cloth to keep the anodized finish bright. Avoid abrasive cleaners or water, which can dull the color over time.
