Intro

Bring the spirit of Jerusalem into your home with a colorful metal wall hanging of the city's rooftops, domes and arches. A palm tree rises at the left, and at the center the Hebrew verse "If I forget thee, O Jerusalem" is set into the skyline. Jerusalem stands for heritage and connection, and the verse speaks of keeping the city close. Designed by Jerusalem artist Yair Emanuel, whose work has graced Jewish homes for over two decades.

Build and Use

Cut from metal in the shape of the skyline, the wall hanging is finished in bright, layered color. It measures approximately 9.5 by 6.5 inches and weighs under 9 ounces, light enough to hang with a single hook or nail. The open cut-out windows and arches let the wall show through the design. It suits an entryway, living room, study or child's room.

Gift Ideas

A Jerusalem wall hanging is a natural housewarming or wedding gift for a couple setting up a Jewish home. It also suits an engagement, an anniversary, or a bar or bat mitzvah. It makes a warm gift for anyone with a close tie to Israel, whether near or far.

Care Instructions

Dust the wall hanging with a soft, dry cloth, or wipe gently with a barely damp one. Keep it away from moisture and abrasive cleaners so the colors stay vivid.
