Intro

Give your home a place for giving with a tzedakah box that doubles as a piece of color. Teal, coral, gold and deep blue interlace in an oriental pattern, with the Hebrew word tzedakah set at the center. The design is Yair Emanuel's hand painted artwork, printed across the whole surface. It was created by Jerusalem artist Yair Emanuel, whose work has been part of Jewish homes for over two decades.

Build and Use

Made of metal with a domed top, the box measures 4 x 2 x 5.5 inches and sits easily on a shelf, counter or windowsill. It is compact enough to keep in any room where coins and bills are set aside. The artwork wraps the front and sides, with the artist's signature at the lower corner. The piece weighs just under one pound.

Gift Ideas

The tzedakah box is a thoughtful housewarming gift for a couple or family setting up a Jewish home. It also suits a wedding, engagement, or anniversary, where color and meaning both count. For a bar or bat mitzvah, it gives a young person a lasting place to begin their own giving. It also works as a gift for any occasion that calls for something with purpose.

Care Instructions

Wipe the box clean with a soft, dry cloth. Keep it away from water and abrasive cleaners so the printed artwork stays bright.
