Intro

Bring a bit of color to your washing ritual with this netilat yadayim cup, cast in a rich green finish with a bright silver interior. The two handles, one for each hand, let the cup pass easily between hands during washing. Designed by Jerusalem artist Yair Emanuel, whose work has shaped Jewish ritual objects for over two decades.

Build and Use

Used for netilat yadayim, the cup is cast from metal and finished with a special coating that gives the green exterior its deep, lasting shine. The interior carries a polished silver tone that sets off the color outside. The cup measures 3.5 by 4 inches and is fitted with two handles for a secure, balanced grip.

Gift Ideas

The green finish and sturdy build make this a fitting gift for a housewarming, wedding, or engagement. It also suits a bar or bat mitzvah or an anniversary, especially for someone setting up a Jewish home. Its color and craftsmanship make it a welcome gift beyond those occasions too.

Care Instructions

Wipe the cup clean with a soft, dry cloth to keep the coating bright. Avoid abrasive cleaners or scouring pads, which can dull the finish, and keep the cup dry between uses.
