Intro

Mark your doorpost with a mezuzah case rich in texture and color, its surface densely embroidered in brown, copper, and gold beadwork around the Hebrew letter Shin. The metal case is framed in a fluted border, with beaded loops at each end for mounting. Designed by Jerusalem artist Yair Emanuel, whose work has graced Jewish homes for over two decades.

Build and Use

Built to hold a scroll of 4.7 inches, this metal case does not include the parchment itself. The case measures 7 x 1.5 x 1 inches, with beaded embroidery set into the metal front in a mosaic of browns and golds. Loops at the top and bottom allow it to be mounted securely to a doorpost.

Gift Ideas

A mezuzah case suits nearly every Jewish milestone: moving into a new home, a wedding, an engagement, or a bar or bat mitzvah. Its rich, textured beadwork also makes it a thoughtful gift for someone furnishing a first home or celebrating an anniversary. Its warm color palette suits nearly any doorway.

Care Instructions

Wipe the case gently with a soft, dry cloth to keep the beadwork and metal clean. Avoid water and abrasive cleaners, which can loosen the beading or dull the metal finish.
