Intro

Mark your doorway with a mezuzah case shaped in bright silver metal, its surface banded with wide raised stripes and marked with the letter Shin. The mezuzah holds the scroll inscribed with the Shema, placed on the doorposts of a Jewish home. Designed by Jerusalem artist Yair Emanuel, whose work has graced Jewish homes for over two decades.

Build and Use

Cast in silver toned metal, the case takes the form of a tapered cylinder with polished banded rings along its length. It holds a scroll of 10 cm, sold separately, and opens along its length to allow the scroll to be placed inside. The case measures about 6.5 inches long and 0.5 inches wide, sized for a standard doorpost mount.

Gift Ideas

A silver mezuzah case suits a housewarming gift for a new home, a wedding, or an engagement. It also makes a fitting gift for a bar or bat mitzvah, or for anyone setting up a Jewish home for the first time. Its clean, banded design keeps it a fitting gift for nearly any occasion.

Care Instructions

Wipe the mezuzah case with a soft, dry cloth to keep the metal finish bright. Keep it away from moisture and abrasive cleaners to preserve the polished surface.
