Intro

Mark your doorway with a mezuzah case that carries meaning in its design, a laser cut metal pomegranate pattern layered over a bright turquoise base. The pomegranate motif has long stood for blessing and abundance, fitting for a case that greets everyone who passes through. Designed by Jerusalem artist Yair Emanuel, whose work has shaped Jewish homes for over two decades. The case holds a mezuzah scroll, kept inside as a sign on the doorpost of the home.

Build and Use

Cut from metal and finished in turquoise, the case features an openwork pomegranate pattern set against the colored surface. It measures about 1 x 0.5 x 6 inches and holds a scroll of matching 4.7 inch length, sold separately. The slim, tapered form suits a doorpost mount and sits flush against most frames.

Gift Ideas

A mezuzah case is a natural gift for a housewarming, marking the start of a new home. It also suits a wedding, an engagement, or a bar or bat mitzvah, where a meaningful Judaica piece carries lasting significance. The turquoise finish and pomegranate design make it a warm choice for anyone furnishing a Jewish home.

Care Instructions

Wipe the case with a soft, dry cloth to keep the metal and enamel finish clean. Avoid abrasive cleaners or excess moisture, which can dull the color and the cut metal detail.
