Intro

Mark your doorway with a mezuzah case that pairs quiet strength with detail. This case is cast in matte black metal, wrapped at the center by a silver band cut with the letter Shin and a cluster of pomegranates. The pomegranate motif carries the meaning of blessing and abundance, a fitting note for a threshold piece. Designed by Jerusalem artist Yair Emanuel, whose Judaica has furnished Jewish homes for over two decades.

Build and Use

Cast from matte black metal with a silver toned center band, the case is finished by hand by skilled artisans who cut the pomegranate and Shin design into the metal. It measures 6 inches by 0.5 inches by 0.5 inches, sized to hold a standard mezuzah scroll, which is sold separately. The case opens along its length to allow the scroll to be placed inside before mounting.

Gift Ideas

A mezuzah case suits a housewarming above nearly any other gift, marking the start of a new home. It also fits a wedding, an engagement, or a gift for someone furnishing their first apartment or moving to a new address. The compact size makes it easy to include alongside a scroll or another piece of Judaica.

Care Instructions

Wipe the case with a soft, dry cloth to keep the metal finish clean. Avoid water and abrasive cleaners, which can dull the silver toned band and matte black surface.
