Intro

Mark your doorway with a mezuzah case built from stacked metal discs, each ring catching the light in shades of blue and steel. The layered form gives the case a sculptural, modern presence unlike a traditional smooth case. Designed by Jerusalem artist Yair Emanuel, whose work has shaped Jewish homes for over two decades. The case holds a scroll, placed inside according to custom, and marks the entryway it's fixed to.

Build and Use

Built from stacked metal discs finished in blue tones, the case measures 1 by 5.5 inches and holds a 12 cm scroll, sold separately. The open construction lets the disc edges show along the full length of the case. A back opening allows the scroll to be inserted and the case mounted to the doorpost.

Gift Ideas

The disc mezuzah suits a housewarming, wedding, or engagement gift for anyone setting up a new home. It also works well for a bar or bat mitzvah or as a thoughtful addition to a Jewish home library of ritual pieces. Its modern shape appeals to buyers looking for something beyond a traditional case.

Care Instructions

Wipe the case with a soft, dry cloth to keep the metal finish clean. Avoid abrasive cleaners or excess moisture, which can dull the blue tones over time.
