Intro

Mark your doorway with a mezuzah case that carries meaning in every line of text. The wide metal case features the words of the Ve'ahavta cut directly through the metal and highlighted in turquoise, the prayer that calls for love of God with all one's heart, soul, and might. Designed by Jerusalem artist Yair Emanuel, whose work has shaped Jewish homes for over two decades.

Build and Use

Cut from metal, the case holds a 5.5 inch scroll, which is not included. The Ve'ahavta text is laser cut through the case and set against a turquoise backing, so the letters read clearly from a distance. The case measures 5.5 by 0.5 by 1 inches, sized for a standard doorpost mezuzah placement.

Gift Ideas

A mezuzah case suits a housewarming gift for anyone setting up a new home, and works equally well for a wedding, engagement, or bar or bat mitzvah. Its clean, modern cutout design makes it a fitting gift for someone who appreciates contemporary Judaica. It also makes a meaningful gift to mark a new chapter, from a first apartment to a family home.

Care Instructions

Wipe the metal case with a soft, dry cloth to keep the surface clean. Avoid abrasive cleaners or harsh chemicals, which can dull the turquoise finish and the cutout lettering.
