Intro

Mark a doorway with a mezuzah case cut from metal to display the words of the Ve'ahavta in bold red lettering. The case holds a mezuzah scroll, traditionally affixed to the doorposts of a Jewish home. The cutout technique lets the sacred text stand out sharply against the brushed metal surface. Designed by Jerusalem artist Yair Emanuel, whose work has shaped Jewish homes for over two decades.

Build and Use

Made from brushed metal with the Ve'ahavta prayer cut directly into the surface and finished in red, the case measures 5.5 x 0.5 x 1 inches. It takes a scroll of matching size, sold separately. The open cutout lettering allows light to pass through the text, giving the case a distinct look on any doorpost.

Gift Ideas

A mezuzah case suits nearly every Jewish milestone, from moving into a new home to a wedding, engagement, or bar or bat mitzvah. It also makes a meaningful gift to mark an anniversary or to welcome a family into their first home. The clean, modern cutout design fits a wide range of home styles.

Care Instructions

Wipe the case gently with a soft, dry cloth to keep the metal surface clean. Avoid abrasive cleaners or harsh chemicals, which can dull the finish and fade the red lettering.
