Intro

Mark your doorway with a mezuzah case cut through with a fine Star of David pattern, its gold surface catching light from every angle. The metal cutout technique lets a shin peek through the front, set against the star motif that stands for Jewish identity and protection. Designed by Jerusalem artist Yair Emanuel, whose work has shaped Jewish homes for over two decades. The case holds the scroll that carries the Shema, affixed to the doorpost as a sign of the home within.

Build and Use

Cut from metal in a repeating Star of David pattern, the case is finished in gold and open at the back to hold a scroll. It measures about 1 by 5 inches and fits a 4 inch scroll, sold separately. Light in the hand at roughly 0.16 pounds, it mounts easily on any doorpost.

Gift Ideas

A gold mezuzah case suits a housewarming, marking the doorway of a new home. It also makes a fitting gift for a wedding, an engagement, or a bar or bat mitzvah, and works well for someone furnishing a first Jewish home. Its bright finish gives it a celebratory feel beyond any single occasion.

Care Instructions

Wipe the case with a soft, dry cloth to keep the gold finish bright. Avoid abrasive cleaners or excess moisture, which can dull the metal over time.
