Intro

Mark your doorway with a mezuzah case cut in a repeating Star of David pattern, its cream metal set against a bright red interior. The mezuzah holds the scroll inscribed with the Shema, placed on the doorposts of a Jewish home. The Star of David has long stood as a symbol of Jewish identity and connection. The case is designed by Jerusalem artist Yair Emanuel.

Build and Use

Cut from metal in a dense Star of David lattice, the case reveals a red interior beneath the pattern. It measures 5.5 inches tall and holds a scroll of the same length, sold separately. The compact form suits a doorpost of nearly any size.

Gift Ideas

The case suits a housewarming for a new apartment or home, and works equally well for a wedding or engagement gift. It also makes a meaningful choice for a bar or bat mitzvah, marking a young person's own connection to Jewish tradition. Its size and classic motif keep it a welcome gift for many occasions.

Care Instructions

Wipe the case with a soft, dry cloth to keep the metal clean. Avoid moisture and abrasive cleaners, which can dull the cutout finish over time.
