Intro

Mark your doorway with a mezuzah case that brings color and craft to a daily ritual. The case layers an intricately cut metal pattern of pomegranates over a bright turquoise backing, letting the design stand out in relief. Pomegranates carry a long association with blessing and abundance, fitting for the threshold of a home. Designed by Jerusalem artist Yair Emanuel, whose work has graced Jewish homes for over two decades.

Build and Use

Cut from metal using an openwork technique, the case sets its pomegranate pattern against a turquoise panel beneath. The case measures 5.5 x 0.5 x 1 inches and holds a scroll of matching size, which is sold separately. A slim, elongated shape suits mounting on most doorposts.

Gift Ideas

A mezuzah case makes a natural gift for a housewarming, marking a new home, or for a wedding as a couple sets up their household together. It also suits a bar or bat mitzvah or an anniversary, standing as a lasting piece rather than a passing gift. Its color and detail make it a meaningful choice whenever someone wants to mark a doorway with beauty.

Care Instructions

Wipe the case with a soft, dry cloth to keep the metal and color bright. Avoid abrasive cleaners or moisture, which can dull the turquoise finish over time.
