Intro

Mark your doorway with a mezuzah case cut from metal in a dense pomegranate pattern, its openwork set against a turquoise background. The pomegranate motif has long stood for blessing and abundance, fitting for the case that holds the scroll placed at the entrance to a Jewish home. Designed by Jerusalem artist Yair Emanuel, whose work has graced Jewish homes for over two decades.

Build and Use

Cut from metal using a laser cutout technique, the case reveals a layered pomegranate pattern over a turquoise interior. It measures about 1 by 5 inches and holds a scroll of up to 4 inches, sold separately. The tube form suits mounting beside a door on either the frame or the wall.

Gift Ideas

A pomegranate mezuzah case makes a fitting gift for a housewarming, a wedding, or moving into a first apartment. It also suits a bar or bat mitzvah or an engagement, marking the start of a new chapter. Its compact size makes it easy to give alongside a scroll for a couple building a Jewish home.

Care Instructions

Wipe the case with a soft, dry cloth to keep the metal cutout clean. Avoid water and abrasive cleaners, which can dull the turquoise finish over time.
