Intro

Mark a doorway with a mezuzah case cut in a dense pomegranate pattern, the metal overlay laid over a deep purple ground. Pomegranates carry a long association with blessing and abundance, fitting for the threshold of a home. Designed by Jerusalem artist Yair Emanuel, whose work has shaped Jewish homes for over two decades.

Build and Use

Made from anodized aluminum finished in purple, the case is topped with a laser cut metal overlay in a pomegranate motif. It measures 5.5 inches long and holds a 4.7 inch scroll, sold separately. The open cutout work lets the color show through while keeping the case light and durable.

Gift Ideas

A mezuzah case like this suits a housewarming, a wedding, or a family moving into a new home. It also works well for a bar or bat mitzvah gift, or to mark an engagement with a first shared doorway. The purple and pomegranate design gives it a distinctive look among more common finishes.

Care Instructions

Wipe the case with a soft, dry cloth to keep the anodized finish and overlay clean. Avoid abrasive cleaners or soaking, which can dull the color over time.
