Intro

Mark your doorway with a mezuzah case cut in a fine pomegranate lattice over bright turquoise. The metal shell reveals the pattern in silhouette, with the Hebrew letter Shin set at the center. Pomegranates carry the meaning of blessing and abundance, fitting for the threshold of a home. Designed by Jerusalem artist Yair Emanuel, whose work has graced Jewish homes for over two decades.

Build and Use

Cut from metal in an open pomegranate pattern, the case sits over a turquoise backing that shows through the design. It measures about 5.5 inches tall and 1 inch wide, sized to hold a 12 cm scroll, sold separately. The open back allows the case to be mounted directly to a doorpost.

Gift Ideas

A pomegranate mezuzah case suits a housewarming, a new apartment, or a wedding gift for a couple setting up their first home together. It also fits well for a bar or bat mitzvah or as an anniversary gift marking a new chapter. The bright color and fine cutout work make it a piece that stands out on any doorway.

Care Instructions

Wipe the case with a soft, dry cloth to keep the metal and color bright. Keep it away from moisture and harsh cleaners, which can dull the finish over time.
