Intro

Mark your doorway with a mezuzah case cut in a fine Magen David pattern, layered in metal over a deep purple body. The star motif is rendered as an intricate laser cut overlay, letting the purple show through in a lattice of small triangles. Designed by Jerusalem artist Yair Emanuel, the case holds the scroll that carries the Shema, kept at the entrance of a Jewish home.

Build and Use

Made from anodized aluminum with a laser cut metal overlay, the case measures 5.5 inches long and fits a scroll up to 4.7 inches, which is sold separately. The purple body shows through the cutout star pattern for a layered, dimensional look. Light and slim at just under half an inch wide, it mounts easily to most doorframes.

Gift Ideas

A mezuzah case suits nearly every milestone: a housewarming for a new apartment or home, a wedding, an engagement, or a bar or bat mitzvah. It also makes a thoughtful gift for a family member setting up a new room or moving into a new stage of life. The purple and metal design gives it a distinctive look among more traditional cases.

Care Instructions

Wipe the case with a soft, dry cloth to keep the metal overlay clean. Avoid water and abrasive cleaners, which can dull the anodized finish and the cutout detail.
