Intro

Mark a doorpost with a case that catches the light through its own pattern. Cut from metal in a repeating Magen David motif, the case carries a small purple Shin at its center, with matching purple trim at each end. The Star of David is a symbol of Jewish identity and protection, fitting for the threshold of a home. Designed by Jerusalem artist Yair Emanuel, whose work has graced Jewish homes for over two decades.

Build and Use

Formed from cut metal, the case is worked in a dense Magen David lattice that lets light pass through the sides. It measures about 5.5 inches long and 1 inch wide, sized to hold a 12 cm scroll, which is sold separately. The cylindrical body opens along its length to slide a scroll in, then closes securely at the doorpost.

Gift Ideas

A metal mezuzah case suits a housewarming for a new home, a wedding, or an engagement. It also makes a fitting gift for a bar or bat mitzvah, or for anyone setting up a Jewish home for the first time. The cutout pattern and purple accent give it a distinct look among mezuzah cases.

Care Instructions

Wipe the case with a soft, dry cloth to keep the metal clean. Avoid abrasive cleaners or excess moisture, which can dull the finish over time.
