Intro

Mark a doorway with a mezuzah case shaped by a floral metal cutout set against a warm brown body. The cutout panel traces a stylized flower and scrollwork in polished silver metal, standing out against the muted background. Designed by Jerusalem artist Yair Emanuel, whose work has shaped Jewish homes for over two decades. The case holds a scroll, which is not included.

Build and Use

Cut from metal and finished with a hand painted brown lacquer, the case measures 6 inches long and about 0.5 inches wide, sized for a standard mezuzah scroll. The silver cutout panel is hand painted by skilled artisans and set at the case's center, framing the floral design in relief. The case is affixed to a doorpost and holds the scroll upright behind its front panel.

Gift Ideas

A mezuzah case suits a housewarming gift for a new home, and it works just as well for a wedding or engagement gift for a couple setting up together. It also fits a bar or bat mitzvah, marking the milestone with something lasting for their own door. The floral design and neutral tone make it a fitting gift across occasions.

Care Instructions

Wipe the case with a soft, dry cloth to keep the metal and lacquer finish clean. Avoid abrasive cleaners or excess moisture, which can dull the painted surface over time.
