Intro

Honor a memory with a candle holder crafted for the moment it holds. Cut from metal, the design surrounds a warm gold background with pomegranates and the word Yizkor, meaning remember. The pomegranate carries its own meaning of blessing and abundance, a fitting note within a piece meant for remembrance. Designed by Jerusalem artist Yair Emanuel, whose work has shaped Jewish ritual objects for over two decades.

Build and Use

Formed from cutout metal set over a colored background, the holder is built to surround a memorial candle for yahrzeit or Yom Kippur. The pomegranate and vine pattern is laser cut through the metal, letting the candlelight show through the open design. The holder measures 3.5 x 3.5 x 3 inches, sized for a standard memorial candle.

Gift Ideas

A memorial candle holder is a meaningful gift for someone observing a yahrzeit or approaching Yom Kippur. It also suits a family after a loss, or anyone building a home with pieces for Jewish observance. The design works well as a thoughtful, lasting gift rather than a seasonal one.

Care Instructions

Wipe the metal clean with a soft, dry cloth once the candle has cooled. Avoid abrasive cleaners, which can dull the cutout finish, and keep the holder away from water.
