Intro

Mark a yahrzeit with a memorial candle holder shaped from laser cut metal, the word "Yizkor" set among trailing pomegranate vines. Pomegranates carry a long association with blessing and abundance, framing the word of remembrance in a pattern of growth rather than loss. The cutout sleeve fits around a white glass memorial candle, letting the flame glow through the open metalwork. Designed by Jerusalem artist Yair Emanuel, whose work has furnished Jewish homes for over two decades.

Build and Use

Cut from nickel finished metal in an open lattice pattern, the holder wraps around a standard memorial candle set in white glass. It measures 3.5" x 3.5" x 3", light enough to place on a shelf, windowsill or table for the day of remembrance. The cutout walls let light pass through the pomegranate design as the candle burns.

Gift Ideas

A memorial candle holder like this suits a shiva house, a first yahrzeit, or a gift for someone furnishing a Jewish home. It also works as a thoughtful housewarming addition alongside other ritual pieces. Given its size, it travels easily to a family gathering or a home marking a loss together.

Care Instructions

Wipe the metal cutout with a soft, dry cloth to keep the finish bright. Avoid abrasive cleaners, and let any wax cool before clearing it from the glass sleeve.
