Intro

Add a burst of color to any room with a butterfly that seems to hover on the wall. Bold wings in red, pink, yellow, teal and violet are edged with rows of black dashes, and a bright green body stands out at the center. The butterfly is a classic symbol of renewal and transformation, a fitting image for a home. Designed by Jerusalem artist Yair Emanuel, whose work has graced Jewish homes for over two decades.

Build and Use

Cut from metal in the shape of an open-winged butterfly, the piece measures about 8 x 7 inches in the XL size. Yair Emanuel's hand painted design is reproduced onto the surface in vivid color. Wavy cutouts in the outer wings let the wall show through and give the shape depth. A small hole at the top of the body makes it simple to hang.

Gift Ideas

Bright and light, the butterfly makes a cheerful housewarming gift for a new apartment or house. It suits a wedding or engagement for a couple decorating their first home. It also works for an anniversary, a birthday, or a child's room, and it sits well in a group with other pieces from the collection.

Care Instructions

Wipe the butterfly gently with a soft, dry cloth to remove dust. Keep it away from abrasive cleaners and standing moisture so the colors stay vivid.
