Intro

Bring a burst of color to your wall with a blue butterfly in layered metal. Teal, turquoise and cobalt wings are traced with dotted borders and softly marked with eye spots. Long a symbol of renewal and change, the butterfly suits a home marking a fresh start. Designed by Jerusalem artist Yair Emanuel, whose work has graced Jewish homes for over two decades.

Build and Use

Shaped from metal, the butterfly measures about 8 by 7 inches (18 by 21 cm) and weighs just 0.18 kg. Yair Emanuel's hand painted design is reproduced onto the surface, with cut-out openings that layer the wings for depth. A small hole in the body lets it hang from a single nail or hook. It suits a living room, a child's room, a kitchen or an entryway.

Gift Ideas

Bright and light, the butterfly makes an easy housewarming or new home gift. It suits a bat mitzvah, an engagement or an anniversary just as well. It also works as a warm gift for a new baby's room or for anyone who loves a touch of color on the wall.

Care Instructions

Wipe the butterfly gently with a soft, dry cloth. Keep it away from abrasive cleaners and standing water so the colors stay vivid.
