Intro

Add a flutter of color to any wall with a butterfly in layered blues. Turquoise and deep navy wings carry a patterned body and cut-out openings that let the wall show through. The butterfly is a symbol of renewal and transformation, a fitting motif for a home. Designed by Jerusalem artist Yair Emanuel, whose work has graced Jewish homes for over two decades.

Build and Use

Made of metal, the butterfly is printed with Yair Emanuel's hand painted design and finished with a gloss. It measures 5 x 5 inches, a medium size that suits a small wall, a gallery cluster, or a child's room. A small hole at the top of the body makes it easy to hang from a nail or a hook.

Gift Ideas

A butterfly in rich blues makes a bright housewarming gift for a new home. It suits a wedding, an engagement, or an anniversary just as well. It also works as a gift for a bar or bat mitzvah, or for anyone who loves art with a Jewish touch.

Care Instructions

Wipe the butterfly gently with a soft, dry cloth to keep the gloss clear. Keep it away from abrasive cleaners and harsh scrubbing so the printed design stays vivid. Avoid prolonged damp so the metal keeps its finish.
