Intro

Mark your doorway with a mezuzah case that pairs deep blue wood and a laser cut metal Jerusalem plate across its center. The mezuzah holds a small parchment scroll inscribed with the Shema, affixed to the doorposts of a Jewish home. The metal cutout traces the Jerusalem skyline, a nod to heritage and connection that runs through the piece. Designed by Jerusalem artist Yair Emanuel, whose work has shaped Jewish homes for over two decades.

Build and Use

Built from painted wood with a laser cut metal overlay, the case stands about 4.7 inches tall. The metal Jerusalem plate is set into the front of the blue wood body, hand painted by skilled artisans. The case opens at the back to hold a standard mezuzah scroll, which is not included and should be sourced separately from a kosher scribe.

Gift Ideas

A mezuzah case suits nearly every milestone gift list, from a housewarming for a new home to a wedding or engagement gift for a couple setting up together. It also works well for a bar or bat mitzvah, marking a young person's own connection to Jewish tradition. The Jerusalem motif adds meaning for anyone gifting or receiving it around a trip to Israel or a family milestone.

Care Instructions

Wipe the case gently with a soft, dry cloth to keep the painted finish and metal cutout clean. Avoid water or abrasive cleaners, which can dull the paint and metal detailing over time.
