Intro

Welcome every guest with a key holder that says Shalom at the door. Two blue birds stand at either side of the word, with pomegranates and leaves rising between them. The pomegranate stands for blessing and abundance, and the word Shalom carries the wish for peace into the home. Designed by Jerusalem artist Yair Emanuel, whose work has graced Jewish homes for over two decades.

Build and Use

Cut from metal by laser, the key holder keeps the fine outline of the lettering, the birds and the leaves. The design is printed in deep blues and turquoise with Yair Emanuel's hand painted artwork. A bar along the base carries seven hooks for keys. The piece measures approximately 10 by 3.5 inches and is light enough to mount by the entrance.

Gift Ideas

A key holder that blesses the home with Shalom makes a natural housewarming gift. It suits a wedding or an engagement, and it welcomes a couple setting up their first Jewish home. It also works for an anniversary or a new neighbor, and the bright blue birds make it a cheerful gift in any season.

Care Instructions

Wipe the key holder with a soft, dry cloth to keep the colors bright. Keep it away from moisture and abrasive cleaners, which can dull the printed finish.
