Intro

Welcome blessing into your home with a large hamsa framed in colorful pomegranates and leafy branches. The center holds a Hebrew Home Blessing, a short verse wishing the home peace, love, joy and success. The pomegranate stands for blessing and abundance, and here it wraps around the verse like a garden. Designed by Jerusalem artist Yair Emanuel, whose work has been part of Jewish homes for over two decades.

Build and Use

Cut from metal in the open outline of a hand, the hamsa is finished in enamel lacquer for a smooth, glossy surface. The artwork is Yair Emanuel's hand painted design, reproduced onto the piece in full color. It measures 9 x 7 inches and weighs under half a pound, light enough to hang on an entryway or living room wall.

Gift Ideas

A hamsa with a home blessing is a natural housewarming gift, whether for a first apartment or a new family house. It also suits a wedding or engagement, a new baby, or an anniversary. The Hebrew verse makes it a fitting gift for anyone building or refreshing a Jewish home.

Care Instructions

Wipe the hamsa with a soft, dry cloth to keep the enamel lacquer bright. Avoid water soaking and abrasive cleaners, and hang it away from damp spots.
