Intro
Wrap yourself in color with a hand woven tallit striped in plum, navy, crimson and copper. A matching atara carries the blessing, set across the neck in blue lettering. Bands of warm color run across a soft ivory ground, with a coordinating kippah and a bag to keep it in. Designed by Jerusalem artist Yair Emanuel, whose work has graced Jewish homes for over two decades.
Build and Use
Woven from a blend of cotton, polyester and silk, the tallit measures 75 inches long by 20.5 inches wide. The silk lends a gentle sheen, and the blend keeps the cloth light and easy to wear. White tzitzit hang from the corners, and the matching atara with the blessing sits at the collar. The set arrives with its own bag and kippah.
Gift Ideas
A hand woven tallit is a fitting gift for a bar mitzvah, and its bright stripes suit a young man choosing his first. It also makes a lasting wedding or engagement gift for a groom. Many give one for an anniversary or a milestone birthday. The included bag and kippah make it ready to present as a complete set.
Care Instructions
Store the tallit folded in its bag when it is not in use. Spot clean gently with a damp cloth, and avoid wringing or harsh detergents that can dull the silk. If the fabric needs more than a spot clean, have it cleaned by a professional.
