• 4 piece set
• Wedding or housewarming
• Designed by Yair Emanuel

Intro

Mark the close and start of Shabbat with a full set built around one Jerusalem scene. The spice box, kiddush cup, candle holder and matching tray are each hand painted with rooftops, arches and courtyards of the city. Jerusalem imagery carries a sense of heritage and connection, drawn here in warm layered color. Designed by Jerusalem artist Yair Emanuel, whose work has furnished Jewish homes for over two decades.

Build and Use

Used together for Havdalah and for lighting Shabbat candles, the four pieces share one painted cityscape across their surfaces. Each piece is crafted from wood and hand painted by skilled artisans, then set on a matching tray measuring 10 inches by 5 inches. The set includes a spice box, a kiddush cup, a candle holder and the tray that holds them, so the pieces stay grouped between uses.

Gift Ideas

A complete set like this suits a wedding, an engagement, or a housewarming, especially for a couple furnishing their first Jewish home. It also works well for a bar or bat mitzvah or an anniversary, where a lasting set of ritual pieces carries more weight than a single item. The unified Jerusalem design makes it a gift that reads as considered rather than assembled piece by piece.

Care Instructions

Wipe each piece clean with a soft, dry cloth rather than submerging in water. Keep the set away from prolonged direct sunlight and damp conditions so the painted colors stay bright on the wood.
