Intro

Bring color to your table with a curved pair of hand painted salt and pepper shakers, each side blooming with layered florals over a rich blue ground. A zigzag border in warm tones frames the base of each piece. Designed by Jerusalem artist Yair Emanuel, whose work has graced Jewish homes for over two decades.

Build and Use

Carved from wood and hand painted with a floral design, each shaker stands about 4 inches tall with a gently curved silhouette. The pair measures roughly 1.5 by 1.5 by 4 inches, sized for a table setting or sideboard. Perforated tops let salt and pepper pass through easily for everyday use.

Gift Ideas

Bright and hand finished, the shakers make a natural housewarming or wedding gift, especially for someone furnishing a new kitchen. They also suit an engagement or anniversary gift, or a small addition to a gift set for someone building a Jewish home. Their color and detail make them a welcome gift beyond any single occasion.

Care Instructions

Wipe the shakers clean with a soft, dry cloth rather than washing them, since water can dull the painted wood. Keep them away from direct moisture and harsh cleaners to preserve the colors.
