• Hand painted wood
• Bird and floral design
• 4" tall pair
• Wedding or housewarming
• Designed by Yair Emanuel

Intro

Add color to your everyday table with a hand painted pair of salt and pepper shakers, each one carrying a bright bird perched among flowering branches. The curved wood forms are painted in layered blues, reds, and purples, with vines and blossoms winding across every side. Designed by Jerusalem artist Yair Emanuel, whose colorful work has filled Jewish homes for over two decades.

Build and Use

Carved from wood and hand painted on every surface, the shakers stand about 1.5 by 1.5 by 4 inches each. The curved, tapered shape gives the pair a graceful stance side by side on any table or counter. Small holes at the top allow for easy filling and use, and the pair keeps its bright finish through regular use.

Gift Ideas

The bird and floral design makes this pair a warm gift for a housewarming, wedding, or engagement. It also suits a bar or bat mitzvah or an anniversary, especially for someone furnishing a first kitchen. The bright colors and hand painted detail make it a welcome gift outside those occasions too.

Care Instructions

Wipe the shakers clean with a soft, dry cloth rather than soaking them in water. Keep them away from harsh cleaners and prolonged moisture so the hand painted finish stays vivid.
