Intro

Bring a playful touch to a doorway with this hand painted mezuzah, its case wrapped in a bright train winding past a village, a tree, and a bear holding balloons. The lively scene brings warmth and whimsy to any threshold. Designed by Jerusalem artist Yair Emanuel, whose work has graced Jewish homes for over two decades.

Build and Use

Crafted from wood and hand painted with layered color, the case measures 6" long and holds a 4.7" scroll, sold separately. The rounded form and vivid finish make it as much a piece of folk art as a ritual object. A small hole at the top allows for simple mounting on the doorpost.

Gift Ideas

With its playful train and animal motifs, this mezuzah suits a baby naming, a new baby's nursery, or a child's room. It also makes a thoughtful housewarming gift for a family moving into a new home, or a bar or bat mitzvah gift for a younger sibling's space. The cheerful design keeps it fitting for any room where a bit of color is welcome.

Care Instructions

Wipe the mezuzah gently with a soft, dry cloth to keep the painted surface clean. Keep it away from water and harsh cleaners so the colors stay bright over time.
