Intro

Mark your doorway with a mezuzah case painted in a warm Jerusalem scene, its domes, stone walls and cypress trees rendered in layered color. The Jerusalem imagery carries a sense of heritage and connection, fitting for the threshold of a home. Designed by Jerusalem artist Yair Emanuel, whose work has graced Jewish homes for over two decades.

Build and Use

Cut and hand painted in wood, the case stands 5 inches tall and holds a 4 inch scroll, sold separately. Each piece carries its Jerusalem scene in bright, layered detail across the front panel. A small hole near the top allows the case to be hung or affixed to a doorpost.

Gift Ideas

A mezuzah case suits a housewarming, a wedding, or a move into a first home together. It also makes a fitting gift for a bar or bat mitzvah or an engagement, marking a new chapter with something meant to stay on the door. The compact size makes it easy to give alongside a scroll of the recipient's choosing.

Care Instructions

Wipe the case gently with a soft, dry cloth to keep the paint clean. Keep it away from moisture and direct sun, which can dull the painted colors over time.
