Intro

Mark your doorway with a mezuzah case carrying a hand painted Jerusalem skyline in blues and purples. The scene layers rooftops, arches, and windows across the wood in a style that reads as both modern and rooted in the city's old stone streets. Jerusalem imagery speaks to heritage and connection, a fitting theme for the threshold of a home. Designed by Jerusalem artist Yair Emanuel, whose work has shaped Jewish homes for over two decades.

Build and Use

Carved from wood and hand painted with a Jerusalem street scene, the case measures 5 inches long. It is fitted for a 4 inch scroll, which is sold separately, and holds a written mezuzah scroll as tradition calls for. The compact size suits doorposts throughout a home, from the entrance to interior rooms.

Gift Ideas

A hand painted mezuzah case makes a lasting gift for a housewarming, marking the start of a new home. It suits a wedding or engagement as well, and works nicely for a bar or bat mitzvah or to mark a family milestone. Its size and color make it a warm choice whenever someone is setting up a Jewish home.

Care Instructions

Wipe the case gently with a soft, dry cloth to keep the painted finish clean. Keep it away from direct moisture and abrasive cleaners so the colors stay bright over time.
