Intro

Mark your doorway with a mezuzah case hand painted in bright blue, its surface scattered with small red pomegranates and a gold letter shin. The pomegranate motif carries a long association with blessing and abundance, fitting for a case that marks the threshold of a home. Designed by Jerusalem artist Yair Emanuel, whose work has graced Jewish homes for over two decades.

Build and Use

Hand painted on wood, the case measures about 4.7 inches long and 1 inch wide. It is built to hold a scroll of matching size, roughly 6 inches, though the parchment scroll itself is sold separately. Two openings at top and bottom allow the case to be affixed to a doorpost.

Gift Ideas

A mezuzah case suits a housewarming, a new apartment, or a couple moving into their first home together. It also makes a fitting gift for a wedding, an engagement, or a bar or bat mitzvah, marking a new stage with something meant to last on the door. The bright pomegranate design gives it warmth as a gift for almost any new beginning.

Care Instructions

Wipe the case gently with a soft, dry cloth to keep the painted surface clean. Avoid water and abrasive cleaners, which can dull the hand painted finish over time.
