Intro

Mark your doorway with a mezuzah case hand painted in bright pomegranates set against a deep blue ground. Rows of pomegranates and golden bands wrap the wooden case from top to bottom. Long a symbol of blessing and abundance, the pomegranate suits a case meant to guard the home. Designed by Jerusalem artist Yair Emanuel, whose work has graced Jewish homes for over two decades.

Build and Use

Cut from wood and hand painted, the case holds a scroll up to 4.7 inches long, sold separately. The case measures about 6 inches by 1 inch by 0.5 inches, with an opening along the back to slide the scroll into place. Its light weight makes it easy to mount on any doorway.

Gift Ideas

A mezuzah case makes a lasting housewarming gift for anyone moving into a new home. It also suits a wedding, an engagement, or a bar or bat mitzvah, marking a new chapter with something meant to stay on the door for years. The bright pomegranate design keeps it a warm choice for any occasion tied to a new Jewish home.

Care Instructions

Wipe the case gently with a soft, dry cloth to keep the paint bright. Keep it away from direct water and abrasive cleaners so the colors stay true over time.
