Intro

Mark a doorway with a mezuzah case painted in the colors of Jerusalem's old stone streets and domes. Hand painted wood, the case shows a layered cityscape rendered in warm yellows, blues, and reds. Jerusalem imagery carries a sense of heritage and connection, fitting for the threshold of a home. Designed by Jerusalem artist Yair Emanuel, whose work has furnished Jewish homes for over two decades.

Build and Use

Hand painted on wood, the case is finished with fine detail across its full length. It measures about 3.9 inches long and 0.4 inches wide, sized for a small parchment scroll, sold separately. A back opening allows the scroll to be placed inside once affixed to the doorpost.

Gift Ideas

Small and richly detailed, this mezuzah case suits a housewarming, a wedding, or a couple moving into a new home. It also fits an engagement or a bar or bat mitzvah, marking the start of a new chapter. Its size makes it easy to give alongside other gifts for the home.

Care Instructions

Wipe the case gently with a soft, dry cloth to keep the paint bright. Keep it away from water and harsh cleaners, which can dull the hand painted finish.
